When I think about my financial future, I always see stumbling blocks and catastrophes. Realistically, I am an electrician, have been a salesman, a chemical technician, and have made money in other ways. How can I best overcome negativity so that I can prosper and not worry about money constantly?

Everyone is guilty of this to some degree. I know I am. I don’t need money to be happy but the only real stress I have in my life is from money. Knowing the bills will be paid each month calms that but its always in the back of mind. Especially when big expenses such as homeowners insurance or property taxes come up and we have to budget ourselves very strictly for that month.

So everyone, how important is money in your life. 1 being you could care less and live your life with no worries about money or 10 money is a big factor and its something you think about on a daily or weekly basis.

I put myself at about an 8 but would love to see everyone else’s views.

Ok.. I’m so worried at the moment and its really getting me down. I’ve never had a problem with money because i’m only 18 and i don’t have any outgoing things accept for a mobile but i’ll get back to that.

Last two weeks has gone so downhill! I already owe £500 out. I’ve been on holidays and things with the girls so i owe £120 to mam and the rest to my bf. I’m not worried about that because i start a new career which pays well on Monday.
Now i have an account on ebay where i sell my dvd players and things. Now on one a dispute was brought on paypal and lost and i now owe out £185 .. Not good! Well what makes it worse it it’s not for me to owe it’s for my bf too because i sold one dvd player of his!!
Now with the mobile.. My step sister who i used to trust got a mobile out in my name! I didn’t know anything about this and when i asked in the shop obviously they told me too get their money i would not be affected by this is the phone was in my name and my step sister paid out of her account.. Well when i went to sign on with a river island card the other day.. my credit rating is low!!! Can’t get nothing out on it.. & then suprise next day.. £116 bill from vodafone threw my front door.. My step sister has failed to pay twice!!!! So when i confronted her she said she will NOT pay the bill because she already has and vodafone are lying!! So now i am stuck with that and the bil needs to be paid by the 9th! I am not going to be paid until the 20th!!
Here’s the worst part. I would try and take the phone off her. But she has cancelled insurance so if she says she has “lost” it i will have to pay the WHOLE contract && another thing.. She is going to be training me in work because she is one of the team leaders. So anytime i have a go at her she can just risk my job & i do rlly need it :’(

Today now my boyfriend has rung my crying because his job has taken his money! He has been off sick from a operation and he got paid only £500 to last him a month last week on friday!! Today now they have told him they over paid him and taken it straight back out his account!! He has NOTHING! So i won’t get the money for paypal & ebay! We are going to struggle.
O yer and my mam has gone on holiday this week! So i can’t ask her for help! & She left us no money because she seaid my bf can pay for this week and no we have no money! I have no money to get to work next week! No money for food and we have none! No money for my brother who i have to take care of all week.

I’m so depressed and stressed i don’t know what to do
Next month my bf only gets £300 .. So i cant pay off anything.. I’m so stressed!.. What am i going to do Help me please.. No sarcy comments this is really serious

No, I’m not well off. I just wanted to know how you guys felt about work. If you thought you missed out from work or gained a sense of self.

the drive is around 700 miles and we are taking a suburban which equals enormous amounts of gas money. i checked flights and they would be about 500 dollars per person, and a train would be about 650 round trip…i think. so i’m wondering which would be the cheapest way to get there?
